Antitrust class action claims banks collude over federal loans

One of the first antitrust class actions to has been filed in the Central District against bank behemoths over their illicit approvals of small business loans under the CARES Act.

As lawmakers prepare to distribute a second wave of funds earmarked for small businesses, a Florida freight shipping company filed an antitrust class action accusing the nation's largest banks of colluding with one another to give preferential treatment to bigger clients before the first traunch of money ran out.
