Federal Circuit affirms patent award on prenatal test but denies injunction
A federal appellate panel affirmed a $26.7 million award for a San Diego-based health care company Friday against Roche Holdings AG-owned Ariosa Diagnostics Inc. for infringing patents on a popular prenatal test that analyzes DNA for birth defects but denied the plaintiff’s bid for a permanent injunction and supplemental damages.
