Defense attorneys say without mass releases, the state is violating constitutional rights of inmates

Three criminal defense associations represented by the ACLU sued the state for allegedly violating the constitutional rights of inmates by inadequately ensuring jails and juvenile facilities follow federal health and safety guidelines during the pandemic.
