Class actions target universities over fees

Class actions have been sprouting up against universities nationwide fighting to claw back campus service fees as schools have shut down amid the public health crisis.

A proposed class action against the California State University and the University of California systems seeks the return of fees for unused campus services after students were ordered to take classes remotely.
