Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced plans Tuesday to introduce the Pandemic Anti-Monopoly Act to temporarily halt "risky mergers and acquisitions."
The announcement came five days after House Antitrust Subcommittee Chairman David Cicilline proposed temporarily banning mergers during the pandemic and said that ban should be included in the government's next stimulus deal.
