Class of women certified in discrimination case against Oracle

A San Mateo County judge has granted class action status to an equal pay case filed by three female employees at Oracle America Inc.

The plaintiffs sought to represent over 4,100 women employed by Oracle, because it would "waste the time and resources of both the parties and the court" to adjudicate their claims individually, according to an order filed last week by Superior Court Judge $95
