Longtime federal prosecutor Patricia A. Donahue has been appointed a U.S. magistrate judge for the Central District of California.
She succeeds Frederick F. Mumm, who retired.
Donahue was sworn in Monday, and will preside over a docket in the court's Western Division in Los Angeles.
