The state Senate's Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee on Thursday rejected a bill to repeal and replace Assembly Bill 5 in a 4-1 vote.
Following the vote, Sen. Mike Morell, R-Rancho Cucamonga, asked to leave the bill out for consideration.
