A bill that Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez said would stop Amazon from giving warehouse workers unmanageable quotas passed the Assembly Committee on Labor and Employment by a 5-1 vote Wednesday.
AB 3056 prohibits employers from imposing unreasonable quotas upon warehouse employees, and requires time and a half pay for every hour employees have "to perform work in excess of the baseline quota."
