Tesla dropped a challenge to Alameda County's stay-at-home orders Wednesday after being allowed to reopen its Fremont factory ahead of schedule.

Tesla sued Alameda County on May 9, calling its continued restrictions a "power grab" since Gov. Gavin Newsom declared the week before that manufacturers would be allowed to reopen. Tesla sought a permanent injunction to restart production.
