California company told to unwind technology venture with Chinese company

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. presented Ekso Bionics Holdings Inc. and the joint venture partners with a National Security Agreement requiring termination of the company’s role in the venture.

In what may be the first action of this type, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. has nixed a joint venture this week between Chinese investors and a California exoskeleton firm, citing national security concerns.
