More minorities enroll in law school, but may not become lawyers, report indicates

“What really matters is that people that schools do enroll, that they are in a position to join the profession and thrive in it,” said Kyle McEntee of Law School Transparency, commenting on a new American Bar Foundation report.

Despite more minorities enrolling in law schools, the prospects for diversity in the legal profession remains murky as most of these students are entering schools with low bar exam passage rates, according to a report released Thursday by the American Bar Foundation.
