Southern District courts resume some in-person proceedings today

The Central District of California adopted a plan for phased resumption of court operations, including limited in-person criminal and civil matters by June 22.

The Southern District of California is set to expand some types of in-person proceedings today, including preliminary hearings in criminal cases, according to an order signed by Chief Judge Larry A. Burns.
