Evictions to resume in Orange County despite objections

About 185 court-ordered evictions were temporarily suspended when the Orange County's sheriff's civil bureau ceased activity in mid-March.

The Orange County sheriff today will resume court-ordered civil evictions that were in process prior to the start of the pandemic. Tenants' counsel say there was not enough notice, while landlord associations say the timing was appropriate.
