Responding in court for the first time to several Covid-19-related lawsuits, Princess Cruise Lines argued passengers must have shown physical signs of the virus before they can recover damages for emotional distress.
The cruise line also warned of dire consequences for years to come if a precedent is set that it must face liability for exposure to the virus.
