Gascon once sought Lacey's aid in police case

Emails obtained through a Public Records Act request by the Association of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorneys, indicate George Gascon asked LA DA Jackie Lacey’s office for help on jury instructions, voir dire and briefs for police misconduct cases.

Former San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon was blasted by the vice president of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorneys on Friday after internal emails surfaced showing Gascon's former staff sought advice from Los Angeles County DA Jackie Lacey's office on how to prosecute police officers.
