Company paid $22M to fix LA water bills files for bankruptcy

Ardent Cyber Solutions is the company previously run by Paul O. Paradis, a New York attorney accused of defrauding a ratepayer class in its lawsuit against the Department of Water & Power.

A purported cybersecurity company run by a key figure in the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power water billing debacle that reaped millions of dollars in no-bid city contracts and was raided by the FBI last year filed for bankruptcy.

Ardent Cyber Solutions LLC, formerly known as Aventador Utility Solutions LLC, filed for Chapter 11 protection, according to a June 3 petition filed in Arizona.
