Law firms pledge resources to organizations fighting racism
Sheppard Mullin said its collaboration, announced Monday, is a response to issues of racism against Asian-Americans community that has arisen from the coronavirus and recent events that have sparked mass demonstrations and riots, with participants alleging police brutality aimed at African Americans.




Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP announced on Monday a collaboration with Georgetown Law's Innovative Policing Program as part of the firm's new race, inclusion and equality task force, while several other firms have committed resources to organizations working on issue related to racism and inequality.
