An appeals court stayed a temporary restraining order blocking Gov. Gavin Newsom's executive order for the fall election.
The case was brought by a pair of GOP Assemblymen, Kevin Kiley, R-Rocklin, and James Gallagher, R-Yuba City. They claimed Newsom's executive order N-67-20 exceeded his authority under the state's Emergency Services Act.
