Deans will ask high court to license graduates without bar exam

Many attorneys oppose the idea as risky and a way for the schools to continue making money for educational services without providing evidence students have learned what they need to be lawyers.

In a meeting with the Supreme Court of California today, law school deans will call for this year's graduates to receive permanent admission to practice without taking the bar exam.
