If tenant groups can intervene in suit so can landlords, say attorneys

The apartment association suing Los Angeles over its eviction ban said if a judge allows tenants’ groups to intervene, other landlords and property owner organizations should be able to join the fight as well.

Tenants' rights organizations want to join the fight to preserve Los Angeles' pandemic-related eviction ban from a landlord organization suing to enjoin it. However a landlord attorney says if third-party groups are allowed to get involved on the tenants' behalf, third-party landlords should be allowed to join the suit as well.
