Tesla says nascent rival incited secrets theft

The world's leading electric vehicle maker alleged that four of its 178 former employees who now work at Rivian were directed to take proprietary information on Tesla hiring practices and manufacturing operations before they left for the startup.

Tesla has opened fire against a nascent electric vehicle manufacturer expected to be its most threatening rival, accusing it in a lawsuit of poaching high-level recruiters and stealing trade secrets to ramp up operations.
