Developer and officials acquitted of bribery can sue, judge says

Then-Attorney General Jerry Brown and then-District Attorney Michael Ramos said it was the biggest public corruption case in the state’s history.

San Bernardino County, its former district attorney and his staff can be sued for alleged retaliation and malicious prosecution by a developer and former county officials who were acquitted of bribery and other corruption charges in 2017, a U.S. judge has ruled.
