President halts federal agencies outsourcing jobs to foreign workers
The order also requires federal agencies to audit themselves to determine whether contractors and subcontractors used temporary foreign labor for contracts; whether American workers lost job opportunities as a result; and whether the hiring of foreign workers impacted national security. Federal agencies also must determine whether their use of labor outside the U.S. adversely impacted domestic job opportunities.
