EEOC to resume sending complainants documents

The commission hasn’t issued charge disclosure documents since March 21, except when complainants explicitly requested them. Those documents allow complainants to pursue federal discrimination suits within 90 days.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's decision Monday to resume issuing documents it sends to complainants once an investigation is closed could prompt more workers to pursue discrimination lawsuits, lawyers said.
