Decade-long coffee labeling case ends with summary judgment for defense

The lawsuit has gone to the Court of Appeal at least three times, and may end up there again, according to sources familiar with the case.

LOS ANGELES -- Ending a decade-long lawsuit against coffee makers and marketers, a judge granted the defendants' motion for summary judgment after hearing oral arguments Tuesday.

But the lawsuit has gone to the Court of Appeal at least three times, and plaintiff counsel said he will appeal the ruling.
