UC Hastings College of the Law’s Academic Village named for Joe Cotchett
The six-story, 57,000-square-foot Cotchett Law Center is the first of what law school officials say is a major construction project including four new or renovated buildings that will transform the campus and the surrounding Civic Center and Tenderloin neighborhoods.





A cornerstone building at what UC Hastings College of the Law describes as its new Academic Village was named in honor of star plaintiffs' attorney Joseph W. Cotchett during a celebratory ceremony Thursday on top of the structure overlooking San Francisco City Hall.
