Virus does what GOP couldn’t: slow Democrat lawmaking in Sacramento
Wednesday’s Senate session was canceled after Sen. Brian Jones, R-Santee, tested positive for the virus. The body came back on Thursday, but with all but one GOP senator absent due to having been in meetings with Jones.
