Spread-out jurors, faulty audio feed, shuffling seat assignments in LA’s 1st trial since March
For the most part, the press and public were relegated to listening to an audio version of the trial in a courtroom several floors away in the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, which led to gate hinge squeaks, rustling paper and surreal feedback drowning out much of the questions and answers.
