State Bar once again pondering sale of San Francisco building

The Legislature in 2014 weighed in on the bar's real estate holdings and the money the bar could save if it moved to a more affordable location.

The State Bar is once again pondering the sale of its office building in San Francisco, which has increased in value by eight to 10 times since its purchase for $22.5 million in 1996.

Cushman & Wakefield advised selling, Steve Mazer, the bar's chief administrative officer, told the finance committee Tuesday.
