Glendale attorney pleads guilty to campaign finance violations, bank fraud

The Justice Department said the campaign finance violations had to do with the 2016 presidential race and several other contests.

A Glendale attorney pleaded guilty in two fraud schemes, the U.S. Justice Department announced.

Rudy K. Dekermenjian, who was listed as active on the State Bar website Thursday, entered pleas in a case involving campaign finance violations and in a conspiracy to defraud a bank into processing $5 million in student loan payments from a merchant it previously terminated.
