DA seeks funds to recheck forensics in thousands of prosecutions

District Attorney Chesa Boudin has asked the county and city for nearly half a million dollars to help him review cases that may have been affected by the work of a recently arrested i forensic analyst.

San Francisco County District Attorney Chesa Boudin is asking city and county officials to appropriate nearly half a million dollars to his office to aid in the investigation of thousands of criminal cases in which a forensic analyst who was recently arrested on illegal drug charges played a role.
