Moderators sued YouTube over graphic content
The lawsuit filed in San Mateo County Superior Court on Monday argued the Google-owned company failed to provide safe workplaces for contractors scrubbing the platform of violence, sexual assault and conspiracy theories, among other objectionable types of videos.




YouTube inflicts psychological trauma on content moderators whose jobs are to catch and remove graphic content from the platform, a proposed class action alleged.
