Google likely would lose if sued by US for antitrust violation
Press reports suggest that the United States and nearly every state are in the midst of putting the finishing touches on their collective plan to sue Google for allegedly violating Sherman Act Section 2.

Press reports suggest that the United States and nearly every state are in the midst of putting the finishing touches on their collective plan to sue Google for allegedly violating Sherman Act Section 2. Section 2 cases are very rare. The U.S. Department of Justice, which splits federal enforcement of Section 2 with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), would lead the potential lawsuit against Google.
