Prison workers say in lawsuit that they received unnecessary exams

The latest complaint includes 187 plaintiffs, about 80% of them male. Each says they were subjected to invasive examinations for pre-employment physicals -- some of them more than once.

Attorneys representing scores of prison officers filed an amended complaint this week alleging they received unnecessary vaginal and rectal examinations when seeking employment with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
