Class action over canceled baseball games is dismissed

A group of baseball fans purchased tickets for the 2020 season and filed a lawsuit earlier this spring, alleging violations of the California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act, California's Unfair Competition Law, civil conspiracy and unjust enrichment.

The Commissioner of Baseball and several professional teams secured a dismissal of a class action filed by fans that say they're entitled to ticket refunds for canceled games amid the public health crisis.
