Suit says venture capital firm stole secrets from former collaborator
Carta, which was known as eShares during the alleged misconduct, said in a statement the company "has reviewed the complaint, believes that the claims have no merit and intends to vigorously defend ourselves in the matter."




A venture capital firm stole trade secrets from a prior collaboration with an investments analytics company to create a competing product with an investee now valued at over $3 billion, a lawsuit alleged.
AllRounds claimed Draper Associates led it to believe it would invest in the company after subscribing to its services only to use intellectual property poached in the partnership to offer an identical service with Carta.
