Pasadena police sued over death of probationer shot while fleeing after Vehicle Code violation stop

The lawsuit by Carillo Law Group accuses the city of fostering a police culture that condones falsifying and planting evidence to cover up excessive use of force.

Attorneys representing the father of a Black probationer shot and killed by Pasadena police officers in August are demanding a jury trial in a wrongful-death lawsuit that accuses the city of fostering a police culture that condones falsifying and planting evidence to cover up excessive use of force.
