Judge admonished, agrees to retire, says he was right

Judge Robert L. Tamietti said in a statement he acted according to his oath of office to protect his community, but accepted the outcome.

The Commission on Judicial Performance publicly admonished Nevada County Judge Robert L. Tamietti, who has agreed to retire effective Oct. 31 and not serve in a judicial capacity again.
