Some LA County family law proceedings may resume in person
Other than restraining order hearings, family law evidentiary proceedings that may be completed within five court days are allowed under a new order from Los Angeles County Presiding Judge Kevin C. Brazile.
As the Los Angeles Superior Court slowly reopens amid the pandemic, Presiding Judge Kevin C. Brazile added family law evidentiary proceedings to the list of matters that can now be held in person.
Brazile said in a Thursday announcement that other than restraining order hearings, family law evidentiary proceedings that may be completed within five court days are allowed.
