An attorney who pled the Fifth Amendment regarding the LA water billing litigation says in a lawsuit the just-retired chief deputy city attorney shared confidential material with opposing counsel.




The just-retired second highest official in the Los Angeles city attorney's office funneled confidential material relating to litigation over faulty utility billing to his old law firm and opposing counsel Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, according to a defamation lawsuit filed by a former special counsel to the city.
