EEOC policy makes anti-bias law enforcement harder, states say in lawsuit

The plaintiffs are the states of California, Maryland, Minnesota, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.

A recent Equal Employment Opportunity Commission policy, which effectively restricts some state and local agencies' access to employer data, will make it harder for those agencies to enforce anti-discrimination laws, according to a lawsuit.
