Buchalter launches appellate fellowship for new law graduates
The Kaufman Appellate Fellowship honors Buchalter’s appellate practice founder, former California Supreme Court Justice Marcus Kaufman, and is open to recent law school graduates or those who have just completed a judicial clerkship.

A fellowship that gives new law graduates immediate work on appellate cases in a large law firm was launched by Buchalter this week.
"I've been thinking about this for a while and about making sure that we have a good way to engage the next generation of appellate lawyers and to train them," said Mary-Christine "M.C." Sungaila, the fellowship's creator and the firm's appellate practice group chair.
