Required clinic credit hours produce more competent lawyers, say some

The American Bar Association in 2014 released standards that included a requirement that students in ABA-accredited schools complete at least six credit hours in at least one law clinic, simulation course or field placement.

After six years of law students being required to complete a certain set of clinical credit hours, some law firms say that new lawyers today come out more prepared but there's room for improvement.
