Disabled judicial appointments are sadly lacking

Following on Peter Lynch’s Letter to the Editor on March 11 about the disproportionately low rate of sitting judges in California with disabilities — just 3% according to the 2020 Judicial Council report — the proportion of appointments for judicial candidates with disabilities is also sadly lacking, once again in 2020, according to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s own annual report.
