Lake County prosecutor can amend religious discrimination lawsuit

In the complaint filed by Wendy Musell, a sole practitioner and of counsel to Levy Vinick Burrell Hyams LLP, Senior Deputy District Attorney Daniel G. Flesch alleged he has been subjected to workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation since he joined the district attorney’s office in 2012 because he is Jewish.

A federal judge on Friday said she would give a Lake County senior prosecutor leave to amend his discrimination and retaliation lawsuit, which alleged he was mistreated by the district attorney's office and a former county supervisor because he is Jewish.
