State Bar will investigate July online exam problems

Test takers have reported problems with the October 2020 and July 2021 bar exams, including frozen screens and system crashes.

The State Bar will investigate problems with the online bar exam technology reported during July's test, an official said Friday.

Assistant Director of Admissions Audrey Ching told the Committee of Bar Examiners during a Friday meeting that the agency is gathering information for an internal investigation and encouraged applicants to report technical issues to the bar.
