Amplify Energy sues ships, Marine Exchange over oil spill
Amplify Energy, represented by Kirkland & Ellis, alleges Mediterranean Shipping Co., Dordellas Finance Corp., as well as the authorities at Marine Exchange responsible for the aquatic traffic in San Pedro Bay, are to blame for the spill.




Amplify Energy, owner of a Huntington Beach crude oil rig involved in a leak last October, sued two shipping companies and officials it says were responsible.
Amplify, represented by Kirkland & Ellis LLP, alleges Mediterranean Shipping Co., Dordellas Finance Corp., as well as the authorities at Marine Exchange responsible for the aquatic traffic in San Pedro Bay, are to blame for the spill.
