City of Orange seeks dismissal of Mary’s Kitchen federal suit
“Mary’s Kitchen’s state court complaint is another delay tactic meant to distract the public from the real issue that Mary’s Kitchen has failed to operate in a safe and appropriate manner in the best interest of the unhoused and the city,” said Seymour B. Everett of Everett Dorey LLP.




The City of Orange -- defending lawsuits in state and federal court by free-food outlet Mary's Kitchen, which is fighting against being shut down -- has a hearing set for March 14 on a fully-briefed motion to dismiss, and another in June on an anti-SLAPP motion.
