Retired Judge Gary D. Hoff, a 28-year veteran of the Fresno County bench, died of cancer on March 7. He was 75.
Hoff was the longest-serving presiding judge in the court’s history, holding the position from 2000 to 2002 and 2011 to 2013. He was also the longest-serving member of the court’s executive committee, serving 23 years.
